Walking from the Foxhound Inn

The Foxhound Inn is ideally situated for a range of activities for visitors. Located just three miles from the centre of Plymouth and three miles away from the coast, visitors are spoilt for choice if they are looking to fill their day either prior to or after visiting the pub. The pub is also only a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Dartmoor National Park and the range of activities the park provides.

We are dog friendly too, so why not call in for a refreshing pint or glass of wine after that long walk. You may well be hungry so why not try one of our delicious meals as a reward for all your efforts!

Estuary Walk: A 2.75-mile (1.5-hour) route branching off the A379 to take in scenic views of the local waterways.

The Gorlofen Walk: A 2.5 to 3-mile (1.5-hour) loop starting from the village church green.

Cofflete Creek to Hollacombe: A longer 5-mile (2.25-hour) scenic hike along the Erme-Plym Trail
